Group travel insurance for Georgia: covering every traveller
Travelling with friends, colleagues or relatives: collecting details, choosing shared dates and making sure everyone receives a policy.
Collecting details without mix-ups
Ask each traveller to check their name in Latin letters, travel document number, date of birth and citizenship. Check one person at a time against their document rather than relying on memory or abbreviated names in messages.
Agree which email address will receive the policies and who will distribute them. Do not post passports or policies in a public group chat; send documents directly to the relevant person.
Before you pay
Lite offers basic protection for your trip. Standard adds support with an insurance event through Telegram and WhatsApp. Lite and Standard have a 100 GEL deductible; Premium has a 0 GEL deductible and priority support. Choose according to the assistance you need and your share of costs, then check the coverage limits.
You can insure up to 10 people in one order. For a larger group, use several orders. Before paying, check the list of travellers, shared dates, plan and total price.
If the trip includes sport or other activities, check the contract's exclusions in advance. Travelling as an organised group does not automatically add cover for those activities.
Distributing the issued policies
Compare the received documents with the list of travellers. Each person's name, document number and insurance dates must be correct. Send each policy to its holder and ask them to save it for offline access.
If a document is missing, ask Polis.ge to check its status before paying again. If one person's trip changes, contact support about their policy; do not assume the whole group's documents have been changed.
Common questions
Where can I see the total price for the group?
The total price of all policies is shown before payment.
Can people of different ages be included?
Yes, if the selected plan is available to everyone based on their age at the start of insurance. Otherwise, buy suitable plans separately.
Can everyone use the organiser's single file?
Make sure each traveller has their own issued policy. A payment receipt or participant list does not replace an insurance document.
